Here we are, 2023 and time for us to refresh our website with a new one. We actually decided to do this mid 2022, but like many builders, your house is the last one to get done!
We will be entering our 14th year of being established this year and the journey has certainly been stressful, plenty of anxiety, but most of all, exceptionally rewarding.
I started this business in a small office in the City of London, in the middle of a recession. Little did I know that 14 years later, I would be in a small office at the bottom of my garden, in the middle of recession, but this time, 20 times more staff! Yes, the road has been a rocky one with Brexit, a Pandemic and then our Cost of Living crisis pushing us into a recession, but we have navigated our way through all this and continued to grow. The keys to our success so far have been:
#1 – Exceptional people. Our team are really at the top of their game, we expect no-less, but then that is because our clients trust us to provide them with an excellent service for their hard earned revenue.
#2 – Stayed single-minded. We have stuck to one thing – provide exceptional eCommerce Professional Services.
#3 – Kept agile. Don’t keep thinking that the same things you have always done will continue to work. You have to stay relevant with the market demands.
#4 – Trusted my gut. Come on, they say your gut is second brain and they are not wrong. Whenever I have gone against my gut, it has failed. If you are a business owner, then you know what works and what doesn’t, don’t be persuaded otherwise.
Don’t get me wrong, there have been some really low points and plenty of failed ideas, that is the nature of running a business, just don’t give yourself a hard time when this happens. Also, never think you are alone, there are always people around that are willing to help, the trick here is that you have to ask.
