The Rake, as an extension of its revered magazine, is renowned for its meticulously curated collection of tailoring, shirts, accessories, footwear, luggage, and watches, accompanied by exclusive collaborations with the world’s most brilliant artisans and brands.
What sets The Rake apart is its editorial approach, allowing customers to immerse themselves in illuminating stories about the design and influences behind each product.
The Rake had encountered significant roadblocks with its incumbent digital agency, particularly in implementing the marketing automation platform, Klaviyo. Recognising our reputation in this field, they turned to us, and we swiftly saw the potential for a beautiful partnership.

- Simplified The Rake’s tech stack; migrating them from Magento Open Source to Adobe Commerce Cloud.
- Delivered an ambitious redesign and re-platforming journey, with a tight deadline coinciding with the 15th-anniversary magazine launch on the 15th of October.
- Delivered a minimal viable product, enabling magazine purchases, while reserving additional features for a future phase.
- Tackled complex site legacy issues while crafting a forward-looking strategy.
- Enhanced the subscription component of The Rake’s digital presence.
- Enabled The Rake to successfully replicate the business model of a traditional magazine.
- Executed an SEO migration process, to ensure a seamless transition and no loss of SEO equity.
- Empowered The Rake to manage and update various homepage elements and editorial content without external assistance.
