With a portfolio of over 40 Magento websites that we support and host, there is not much that we have not seen when it comes Magento!
The majority of our portfolio we designed and developed ourselves, but there are some that we took over from other agencies. Still to this day we are we finding Magento Websites that have not been developed to the standard we expect. More often than not you can see that they could code, but did not understand the framework that Magento gives you.
The Magento CE version might be free, but this does not mean you should set a low budget for getting your site developed as you will only pay that and more again to get it to work properly. Doesn’t matter how good that front-end is, if you can’t update the entire site yourself from using the Admin panel, then why use Magento in the first place!
If your Magento website is designed and developed correctly, then you should be able to change everything from the image in your carousel, featured products, tags for SEO on-page optimisation to shipping methods and contact email addresses.
