There are not many Magento 2 Agencies in London, not many of us have been as brave as us to take the plunge at an early point! As soon as Magento announced their new version, we were all over it. Some would say that was not the brightest idea, as you never rush in and use the first version of anything. However, we gave it 4 months to wait and see what the feeling was, heard that there were some issues with it, but having worked with Magento long enough now, we knew the issues would not be around for long and we were right.
We are now a year into having Magento 2 in our world and they have released 2 further point releases with another imminent. These releases have made the platform a lot more stable.
We are really pleased to have taken the plunge, as it means that we are able to showcase 2 Magento 2 sites that we have designed and built (The Real Flower Company and Biggie Best), taken over 2 that unfortunately other agencies were not able to get over the line and now we have 6 at varying stages of development, 2 of those are about to go live.
We have not only secured our place as a Magento 2 Agency that can design and build Magento 2 website, but also as one that intrinsically know a lot about the API’s. We have already been successfully involved in writing Magento Extensions for Payment Solution Providers, but also significantly worked on a large customisation of the basket and checkout to complete a unique user experience in this area – this is going to be launched soon.
