Have you misplaced your login details for a service or product you use? Or have you left your meeting notes in your notepad at home?

Most businesses have used or have at the very least heard of Evernote.  Evernote is a slick note-taking and collaboration tool to help companies organise and share their internal information.  The app is available on mobile and desktop devices so you always have access to all your notes.

I really believe if you’re a small-medium sized business you need tools like Evernote to save time and increase your team’s productivity. How much time is wasted looking for notes or login details? How many times are you asked from a member of your team what the login details are for a service you’re subscribed to?

All this wastes time and why bother when you can use tools like this which are extremely cheap or even free to use.

You can use Evernote for some of the following reasons:

Save important documents and details

You can store important business information such as:

  • Mission and vision statements
  • Business plan
  • Quarterly and annual reports
  • Meeting minutes
  • Partnership agreements
  • Credentials for any services or products you have subscribed to

Go Paperless

Declutter your office by saving these papers in Evernote:

  • Notes
  • Business cards
  • Business receipts
  • Instructions

Create blog posts

Evernote is a great place for storing blog ideas and putting them together.  If you come across any resources or articles that may help with writing your blog you can you can clip them to a specific note or note book for Blog ideas.

Collaborate with your colleagues

You can share notes and notebooks with colleagues or business partners without having to send lots of emails back and forth between you. This also ensures you are all looking at the latest version.

Create templates

Evernote is great for storing and retrieving templates that you use regularly. For example:

  • Presentation outline
  • Supplier agreements
  • Non-disclosure agreements

So, stop losing important notes or spending time looking for important information to share with your team and download the Evernote application to drive productivity.
