From 21st April, Google will be looking at the mobile friendliness of your site as a ranking indicator!This was only announced a couple of days ago. To be honest, this really should be of no surprise that something like this was going to happen. At the end of the day, Google does have a duty to the searcher to give best of the best websites the highest ranking.

They are saying that this is going to carry a fair bit of weight, eek. So, if your website is not mobile friendly, you have not made it responsive, then you better make some plans asap.
